KANSAS CITY – Earlier this summer, the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl Champion starting center Creed Humphrey joined forces with Kansas City’s only professional bull riding team, the Kansas City Outlaws, to become “Chief of Outlaw Attitude.” While Humphrey will be prominently featured in-arena when the Outlaws return to Kansas City for their second annual PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Teams homestand, Aug. 3-5 at T-Mobile Center, the team has found yet another way to integrate Humphrey into the Western lifestyle.
This weekend, Kansas City Outlaws Head Coach J.W. Hart will rename one of his top bucking bulls “Creed” in honor of Humphrey. Humphrey will now not only represent Kansas City on the gridiron, but his bovine athlete namesake will also look to bring glory to the city on the dirt. “Creed” – one of the rock stars of “the original extreme sport”– will buck inside T-Mobile Center as the PBR Teams League’s eight founding teams, including the Outlaws, compete daily from Aug. 3-5 in five-on-five bull riding game against an opposing team.
The bull riding action for the 2023 PBR Teams’ Outlaw Days at T-Mobile Center – the second event of the 11-event season – begins at 7:30 p.m. CT on Thursday, August 3 and Friday, August 4, and 6:45 p.m. CT on Saturday, August 5. The Outlaws will play the Arizona Ridge Riders on Aug. 3, followed by a Battle for the Show Me State against the Missouri Thunder on Aug.4, and the Oklahoma Freedom on Aug. 5. Tickets are still available and can be purchased online at AXS.com, PBR.com, kansascityoutlaws.com and t-mobilecenter.com, or by calling PBR customer service at 1-800-732-1727.
