RIDGEDALE, Mo. – In front of a hometown crowd at the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Team Series Thunder Days at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena in Ridgedale, Missouri, the Missouri Thunder clinched the first win of their inaugural homestand on Saturday night against the Nashville Stampede, 267.5-261.75.
After getting dominated by the No. 1-ranked Carolina Cowboys on Friday night, the Missouri Thunder rode three bulls on night two of the weekend with big-score rides from Andrew Alvidrez (Seminole, Texas), Adriano Salgado (Batatais, Brazil), and Cody Teel (College Station, Texas).
The Austin Gamblers also earned a huge win against the No. 2 Oklahoma Freedom, 179.25-91, courtesy of Jose Vitor Leme’s(Ribas do Rio Pardo, Brazil) fourth walk-off ride of the season. The loss ended the Freedom’s winning streak at 8 games.
Coming off a win Friday night, the Texas Rattlers, presented by Ariat, remained perfect against the Kansas City Outlaws 179.5-0. The Rattlers are the only undefeated team in Missouri.
In game four of Saturday evening the Arizona Ridge Riders avenged two losses earlier this season to the Carolina Cowboys to beat the No. 1 Cowboys 265-0.
