Saturday was a true wild west showdown at the Tucson Rodeo as the contestants vied for the last opportunity to compete in Sunday’s Finals.
Here are the results for the day:
Myles Carlson of Evanston, WY took the GO Round 1 win with a score of 88 points on Andrews Rodeo’s Wrap It Up.

In Steer Wrestling, Sam Goings of Fallon NV wins the second Go Round with a time of 4.9 while Marc Joiner of Loranger, LA is the aggregate winner.

In Team Roping, Dustin Egusquiza, Marianna, Fla. and Levi Lord, Sturgis, SD, are the Go Round winners with a time of 4.6.
Statler Wright of Beaver, Utah wins the Go Round in Saddle Bronc with 86 points on Beutler & Son’s Final Act.

In Tie-Down Roping, Kyle Lucas of Carstairs, Calgary, Alberta, Canada, wins Go Round 2 with a time of 9.3 and Kyle Lucas and Michael Otero of Perrin, Texas, share the aggregate lead with a time of 19.8 on two runs.

Women’s Barrel Racing Go Round 1 winner is Emily Beisel, Weatherford, OK with a time of 17.29.

And the day finished with a huge ride in Bull Riding with Jackson Ward of Goddard KS riding Salt River Rodeo’s Smash into first place with a score of 87.
