AUSTIN MOODY RELEASES RENDITION OF “TENNESSEE CHRISTMAS”
Country music artist and East Tennessee native, Austin Moody, announced the release of his version of “Tennessee Christmas” a song rooted in the traditions of country music, paying homage to the genre’s cultural and regional influences.
Austin Moody’s rendition of “Tennessee Christmas” is authentic, staying true to the country music tradition while offering a fresh take on the holiday theme written by Gary Chapman and Amy Grant.
“Tennessee Christmas” is featured on an EP project titled Old Fashioned Christmas, a collection of classic holiday song covers promoted by Duke Spirits.
The 6-song EP was executive produced by Chris Radomski, the founder of Duke Spirits, with production led by Austin Moody and co-produced by Mitch Furr and Elisha Hoffman.
Duke Spirits, known for crafting award-winning ultra-premium bourbon, rye, and tequila, is an artisan distiller dedicated to preserving the legacy of American icon John Wayne.
Their commitment is evident in the meticulous crafting of spirits using decades-old recipes and bottles from John Wayne’s archives, encapsulating the enduring ideals that he stood for.

“Tennessee Christmas” was produced by Austin Moody with Chris Radomski as Executive producer. Mastering was done by Nathan Dantzler at The Hit Lab and Mitch Furr served as tracking and mixing engineer. Studio musicians on the project included Justin Weaver (Acoustic Guitar), Aaron Currie (Electric Guitar), Viktor Krauss (Upright Bass), Cactus Moser (Drums/percussion), Josh Shilling (Piano/B3 organ), Tim Crouch (fiddle/viola/cello) and Rebecca Lynn Howard (background vocals).
ABOUT AUSTIN MOODY
Artist and songwriter Austin Moody possesses an innate sense for recognizing when something looks and sounds right.
Growing up in the small town of Kingsport in East Tennessee, music has always been a large part of Moody’s life, as he was constantly drawn to performing and eventually began writing his own songs.
A pivotal moment occurred during his high school years when he encountered Country music legend Marty Stuart, inspiring him to relocate to Nashville and diligently pursue his own career in the music industry.
While crafting his records in Music City, Moody found a deep interest in production, learning valuable skills from industry masters such as Tony Brown, Mac McAnally, and Keith Stegall.
One of his most recent songs, “I’m Just Sayin” caught the attention of the masses capturing the number four spot on the country iTunes charts and number eight in all genres worldwide.
Organically the popular tune has generated over 280K YouTube streams and nearly 137.5K Spotify streams.
