INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Andrew Alvidrez (Seminole, Texas) put up the high-scored ride of the weekend and the biggest of his career to win the Ariat PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Indianapolis, presented by Cooper Tires on Saturday night inside a sold-out Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Alvidrez shot from No. 21 to No. 7 in the Unleash The Beast standings.

“This sport is crazy, like life. One moment you’re on top of the world, the next, you’re grinding it out in the trenches. The person who gets all the glory is my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is my life. I’m trying to be better every day in my life as a man and being a cowboy.”

“It’s been two years since my last win,” Alvidrez said. “This sport is crazy, like life. One moment you’re on top of the world, the next, you’re grinding it out in the trenches. The person who gets all the glory is my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is my life. I’m trying to be better every day in my life as a man and being a cowboy.”

Paired with The Player (Blake Sharp), who was making his PBR debut in the opening round on Friday, Alvidrez sat tall for 87.5 points to seal a 348.75-169 victory for his Missouri Thunder over the Kansas City Outlaws in the latest Monster Energy Team Challenge, presented by Camping World showdown. The points in the showcase game counted for the weekend and individual gold buckle race, putting him in fourth place in Indianapolis heading into championship Saturday.

In Round 2, the former powerlifter hung on to American You (Universal Pro Rodeo/Rachel & Dustin Powell/Delmas/Williams) for 80 points to punch his ticket to the championship round.

Now on a roll, Alvidrez made the 8 for a third time aboard Nobody (Snyder Family/Gene Owen Bucking Bulls) for a career and event-high 92.5 points to catapult to the top of the leaderboard.

The veteran’s first victory of the season earned him 133 Unleash The Beast points, propelling him from No. 21 to No. 7 in the Unleash The Beast standings, now 249.75 points behind No. 1 Brady Fielder (Clermont, Queensland, Australia).

The only other rider to cover all three of his bulls was Koltin Hevalow (McAlester, Oklahoma).

Tasked with Whiskey Business (Blake Sharp/UB Bucking Company) in Round 1, Hevalow made the 8 for 85.25 points.

In Round 2, the Missouri native who rides for the Kansas City Outlaws in the separate PBR Teams league covered Ridin’ Salty (Drink LMNT/McCoy Rodeo) for 84 points.

Choosing Doze You Down (Premier Livestock/Rafter KL) in the championship round draft, Hevalow sat tall for 84.5 points to rise to second in the event standings.

The perfect performance netted Hevalow 82 Unleash The Beast points, catapulting him from No. 24 to No. 12 in the 2025 gold buckle race.

The final spot on the podium belonged to Elizmar Jeremias (Anapu, Brazil).

The Brazilian won the opening round by topping Mike’s Motive (Blake Sharp/High Voltage/Wetzel/Knott) for 88.75 points.

Despite bucking off Wild Card (Blake Sharp/UB Bucking Company) in 4.81 seconds in Round 2, Jeremias, a member of the Florida Freedom in PBR Teams, rallied to ride Hoobastank (Blake Sharp/Hanks) for 90.75 points in the championship round.

With the bronze finish, Jeremias earned 83 Unleash The Beast points and rose from No. 31 to No. 23 in the standings.

Boudreaux Campbell (Crockett, Texas) went 2-for-3 and finished fourth.

After helping propel the Thunder to victory with an 88.75-point ride on Judgement Day (Premier Livestock/Rafter KL) in Round 1, Campbell was bucked off by Exodus (Jane Clark/Gene Owen) in 4.64 seconds in Round 2.

The Texan rebounded to become the first cowboy to convert in the championship round by covering Big Bank (Universal Pro Rodeo/Rachel & Dustin Powell/Delmas/Williams) for 87.5 points.

Rounding out the Top 5 was Dalton Kasel (Muleshoe, Texas), who also went 2-for-3.

The rider for the Austin Gamblers topped Mahan (Jane Clark/Gene Owen) for 85 points to tie for 14th in the opening round Friday night.

In the second round, Kasel stormed out of the chutes aboard Nightmare (Universal Pro Rodeo/Delmas/Williams) for a round-winning 89 points to seize the lead heading into the championship round.

Choosing UTZ BesTex Smokestack (Blake Sharp/Chris Utz/Carey Brothers) as his final animal athlete opponent, Kasel initially sat tall before being bucked off in a heartbreaking 7.61 seconds in the final out of the event.

Kasel returned home with 53 Unleash The Beast points, pushing him from No. 4 to No. 2 in the standings, 105 points behind Fielder.

Maintaining his spot atop the Unleash The Beast standings, Fielder went 1-for-2 and finished tied for 21st.

After riding Time For Magic (Phenom Genetics/Western Roughstock/Sankey Pro Rodeo) for 85.5 points in Round 1, the Australian cowboy was bucked off by Ugly This (McCoy Rodeo/Spencer Neil) in 3.85 seconds in Round 2.

Fielder’s 1-for-2 weekend netted him 8 Unleash The Beast points.

In the bull pen, Always Been Crazy (Jane Clark/Gene Owen) was marked 45.25 points for his 2.69-second buckoff of Ethan Winckler (Winnie, Texas) to win the YETI “Built for the Wild” Bull of the Event title.

In addition, Magic Potion (K Bar C Bucking Bulls/Daniels Cattle Co.) bucked off Luciano De Castro (Guzolandia, Brazil) in 1.92 seconds to extend his buckoff streak to 45, putting him three behind Cool Whip (Julian/Stacy Addison/D&H/Crooked W) for the PBR record.

The first round at Gainbridge Fieldhouse also featured an ABBI (American Bucking Bull Inc) Classic competition, featuring 18 of the sport’s up-and-coming four-year-old bovine athletes competing for $19,000 in prize money. Yahoo (Buck/D&H Cattle) turned in a score of 88.72 points to win the Indianapolis Classic event title by bucking off Julio Cesar Marques (Tatui, Brazil) in 4.71 seconds.
