MUSTANG CHALLENGE – LIVESTREAM EVENT HOSTED BY THE COWBOY ENTREPRENEUR, SCOTT KNUDSEN JULY 11TH-13TH IN VEGAS AT SOUTH POINT ARENA
Mustang Challenge / South Point Arena, Las Vegas NV, July 11-13, 2024 – the richest western discipline national mustang competition.
Mustang Champions, in partnership with the Bureau of Land Management and Western Horseman, is proud to announce that the inaugural event will be streamed live and on-demand through RideTV. The livestream event will be hosted by none other than Scott Knudsen – The Cowboy Entrepreneur.
Scott is a hero and advocate for American mustangs in holding. His background and life experiences in western competitions and as a life coach / motivational speaker make him a prime personality to add insight and share information about mustangs in America.
The three-day Mustang Challenge event at South Point Arena will showcase previously wild mustangs competing in three preliminary classes – reining pattern, trail class and ranch riding. The finals event will be a freestyle competition showcasing just how versatile American mustangs can be.
$125,000 Total cash and prizes. $50,000 to the Champion.

ABOUT SCOTT KNUDSEN
Scott Knudsen is not your ordinary 5th generation Texas cowboy with a business degree from Tarleton State University in Stephensville, TX. He has been struck by lightning (in his head, out of his hand), played a mixed doubles tennis tournament at the LA Forum with Billy Jean King and Martina Navratilova for Yonex, and became an award-winning national sales rep for a Fortune 50 company. Married with one daughter, Scott and his family live near Fredericksburg, TX.

On deck for later in the Fall is Scott’s second book, SOVEREIGN REIN, A Collection of 14 Real-Life Cowboy Stories.

ABOUT MUSTANG CHALLENGE
The goal of The Mustang Challenge is to showcase the skill and adaptability of the American mustang and the talented trainers that work with them in the Western discipline. The event will provide the public an opportunity to witness a mustang that has been given a foundation for success on its journey from government holding to private ownership.
The Mustang Challenge is open to exhibitors (ages 18 and older) that have adopted or purchased a BLM mustang between September 8th, 2023 and April 1st, 2024. Exhibitors must adopt or purchase their mustang from approved BLM Wild Horse & Burro facilities, approved satellite events, the Wild Horse & Burro Online Corral or any approved facility. All mustangs should be registered with Mustang Champions after adoption or purchase. As an exhibitor you will be able to compete with up to two mustangs. You do not need to be the adopter or owner of the mustang to compete. All exhibitors must complete the Mustang Trainer Readiness Curriculum prior to entering the Mustang Challenge completion. All exhibitors must show proof of pre-Challenge show competition experience prior to the Challenge competition July 11-13, 2024.
