Nashville, TN (June 24, 2024) – On Saturday, June 22, Savannah Maddison, representing the city of Lexington, TN, captivated audiences and judges alike at the Miss Tennessee scholarship competition held in Johnson City. Among fierce competition, Savannah emerged as the 1st runner up, marking a significant achievement in the pageant.
Throughout the evening, Savannah distinguished herself with several accolades, including the prestigious “Overall Interview” award, the “Preliminary On Stage Question” award, and the “Overall Community Service” award. Her dedication and commitment to excellence were further recognized with the 1st runner up to “Public Relations” award.
A highlight of the evening was when Savannah was honored with the inaugural “Legacy Service” award, presented by Retired Army Colonel Maria Eoff, underscoring her outstanding contributions and impact within the community through her 501c3, Savannah’s Soldiers. Savannah is a volunteer firefighter and business owner who advocates for our veterans and active duty military members.
Savannah showcased her talent with a powerful rendition of “Amazing Grace” during the competition’s talent segment, captivating the audience and judges alike. She excelled in the On Stage Question, Fitness, and Talent categories, demonstrating grace and skill throughout each round.
In recognition of her accomplishments, Savannah was awarded $8,000 in college scholarships this week, reflecting her commitment to academic excellence and future aspirations.
The title of Miss Tennessee was awarded to Carley Vogel, Miss Capital City, who emerged victorious after an inspiring competition.
