Palestine, Texas – We are thrilled to announce the official launch of the United Bulls and Broncs (UBBI), thanks to a partnership between Jimmy Ray, Danny Reagan, and Andy Carter.
CEO Andy Carter stated, “We have been considering the return of the UBBI for a while now. Our goal was to offer something more than just another bucking bull competition.” The UBBI aims to benefit both the rodeo stock contractors along with the large and small bull and horse breeders by providing more opportunities to win substantial prize money ($20,000 added each event) with a single animal, better opportunities to bring in partners, sponsors and more revenue. One of the new feature is the “Rodeo Team” events, where participants can enter three animals one bareback, one saddle bronc and one bull of any age to compete for a $30,000 first place purse.
The new UBBI will feature multi-level memberships, including a general membership similar to other organizations and an exclusive “Founders Membership.” Only 31 Founders Memberships will be available, offering unique benefits such as the ability to elect a representative for event and rule decisions and working with the board, access to a VIP area at all events for partners, families, or sponsors, and the opportunity to host UBBI produced events as well as future sanctioned events at their ranches or locations, sharing in the revenue and creating a unique fan experience.

Another significant innovation is the creation of Roughstock 101, a short “ground school” for riders at each event. Carter explained, “Even though these are ‘bring your own rider’ events, we need to start developing more skilled riders to match the top-tier animal athletes we now have in the industry.” Former World Champions, coaches and trainers will be brought in to work with the UBBI Riders League on everything from their mental game to staying healthy.
Currently, there will be one non-points “kick off” event (non points) scheduled for November, and another for New Year’s at the United Pro Rodeo ranch. Once the founding memberships are established, three more events and an estimated $100,000 added finals for 2025 will be scheduled and announced.
