The powerful animal athlete is one of the most difficult in the world to ride for eight seconds.  Five-year-old Twisted Steel has bucked off 36 of the 41 riders who have attempted him, logging a torrid 87.8% buck off percentage. Twisted Steel is currently bucking at his second career PBR World Finals. In his first out at 2024’s edition of bull riding’s most prestigious event, during Eliminations, Aussie Qynn Andersen cracked the code aboard the powerful bovine, marked 86.75 points, with Twisted Steel posting a 42.25-point out.

Tonight, Twisted Steel returned to the draw, matching up with No. 16 Cort McFadden. This out, however, was met with added significance, featuring a $100,000 bounty. McFadden made the requisite 8, PBR and White awarded the rider $50,000 while also presenting BMF Kids Camp Foundation a check for $50,000.

BMF Kids Camp Foundation is the organization launched by renowned UFC fighter Cowboy Cerrone, who had been scheduled to attempt Twisted Steel tonight in a promotional ride before tearing his bicep off the bone in a practice session. If McFadden had buckled off Twisted Steel, the entire $100,000 would have been donated to BMF Kids Camp Foundation.
