LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Friday, April 19, 2024) – Churchill Downs and Fasig-Tipton have announced a new three-year partnership where the prestigious sales company will be the official sponsor of the La Troienne (Grade I), Fleur de Lis (GII) and Locust Grove (GII).

The $1 million Fasig-Tipton La Troienne will kick off the series. Run at 1 1/16-miles on Kentucky Oaks Day, this year’s La Troienne Stakes is expected to include two Eclipse Award winners: Idiomatic and Pretty Mischievous.
The Fasig-Tipton Fleur de Lis, run Saturday, June 29 during Stephen Foster Day, is part of the Breeders’ Cup Dirt Dozen Bonus Series and will award the top three finishers a partial travel credit should they compete in the Breeders’ Cup Longines Distaff (GI) on Saturday, Nov. 2 at Del Mar.
The Fasig-Tipton Locust Grove, run during the September Meet, has proven to be a crucial
steppingstone to the Breeders’ Cup Distaff with previous winners including Fasig-Tipton graduates Blue Prize (ARG), Search Results and Shedaresthedevil.
