River House is pleased to announce the release of Grant Gilbert’s flirtatious track, “Turn It Down,” with Ashland Craft just in time for Valentine’s Day.

The track, written by Lainey WilsonDriver Williams, and Arkady Gelman, is a new version of Gilbert’s successful release of the lovey-dovey song last summer.

Gilbert recently rerecorded the track, inviting rising star Ashland Craft to join him in a duet.

The song narrates a playful yet passionate story of a couple finding solace and joy in each other’s love, using humor to navigate the everyday challenges of home life.

With the catchy tune and steamy, relatable lyrics, the song becomes a delightful journey of shared moments, providing a feel-good escape and a celebration of the warmth found within a loving relationship.

“TURN IT DOWN” LYRICS

All the bitchin and complainin’/Just up and goes away when
We’re shaking the foundation of this house
So lay that lovin’ on me /You always know the right thing
To turn a hell of a bad day around /When it comes to your love baby
I can’t/Turn it down

“I’m so excited to put out ‘Turn It Down’ as a duet. It’s edgy and exciting and Ashland is the perfect partner for this track,”

ABOUT GRANT GILBERT

Cut from the Texas country cloth, yet rocking a style of his own design, River House artist Grant Gilbert has a history of self-made wins, streaming success, and big-name believers.

With a fresh batch of music, proudly independent and made with Nashville’s top talent, a new chapter begins.

Raised on a cattle ranch in tiny Santo, Texas, Gilbert was inspired by everything from his grandparents’ Texas swing and fiddle tunes to his dad’s penchant for Springsteen, Petty, and the country hits of the ‘80s.

He dove head first into Lubbock, Texas, a town famous for its vibrant live-country scene, while a student at Texas Tech.

He eventually made his way to Nashville where he spent time writing with hit songwriters like Brad Clawson, Jessie Jo Dillon, and Dan Isbell, and recording with producer/songwriter Jonathan Singleton.

Tracks like “She Goes Home (Dirty Breakup Song),” “God & Everybody,” and “What’s Stopping Us” racked up nearly 2 million streams on Spotify alone, mixing that gritty Lubbock edge with a youthful passion for life and love.

But with a new chapter unfolding, he’s just getting started.

New tracks like the can-crushing “Six Pack State of Mind” (featuring Josh Abbott), “Turn It Down,” and “Take Me Out to the Bar” help to showcase the artist Gilbert’s become.

For him, that has always meant being his own man and working to make his own place in the world. With big things on the horizon, he’s not going to stop now.
