GREATERNITY RELEASES NEW SINGLE “PLANTING SEED”
Christian Country music project, Greaternity, joyfully announces the release of their latest divinely inspired song message, ‘Planting Seed’, on Monday, January 15, 2024. ‘Planting Seed’ was written by Greaternity’s Robert J. Thompson (aka Bobby Joe Owens) and is about sharing the love of Jesus without pushing it on anyone.
A joyful, energetic, danceable tune with a strong positive spiritual message, ‘Planting Seed’, is sure to please both Modern Country and Contemporary Christian audiences. Be prepared to smile when the banjo kicks in!
As born-again Christians, we know that you cannot force one’s beliefs on anyone else, but you can “plant seed” and potentially open the possibility in someone’s heart to seek a relationship with Jesus Christ.
“Planting Seed” could mean sharing Bible Verses, Bible Teachings, through personal conversations, through acts of kindness or by the sharing of a song.
There are many ways we can plant seed without being intrusive or pushy.
One of the best ways to plant seed is to become a shining example of God’s grace, love, and kindness so that others can clearly see and in turn, they may ask questions and/or strive to live a life like yours in Christ.
There are many mentions of sowing or planting seed in The Bible, but the most known is the “Parable of the Sower,” a parable of Jesus found in the New Testament Books of Matthew 13:1-13, Mark 4:1-20 and Luke 8:4-15.

We pray that this song will plant a seed with all non-believers and those who may have strayed away from their faith so that one day this seed can grow inside them and bear great fruit in their relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Greaternity is led by singer/songwriter Bobby Joe Owens (aka Robert J. Thompson) who wrote ‘Planting Seed’, ‘What A Wonderful Night’, ‘Love You Like Jesus’, ‘Trust My Word’ and ‘The Son of Man’ after being born again in the fall of 2021 following a near death experience of Owens’ then fiancé (now wife) Anna.
Owens says of the experience, “Jesus saved the love of my life, Anna, and ‘Planting Seed’ and the other songs honor Jesus Christ as My Lord and Savior. Glory be to God!”
Arranged and produced by Nashville Based Producer and multi-instrumentalist, Simon Reid, ‘Planting Seed’ features lead vocals by Bobby Joe Owens and all instrumentation by Reid.
Backup vocals are provided by Reid and special guests.
‘Planting Seed’ was mixed and mastered by Simon Reid at his Nashville Studios.
