(April 7, 2023 – Nashville, TN) – Multi-Platinum selling singer-songwriter, Chris Janson, is celebrating the ‘cold ones’ on National Beer Day with the release of his latest track, “Tap That,” available now. The song, written by Janson, Preston Brust, Brandon Kinney and Chris Lucas, is a love letter to everyone’s favorite summertime partner – beer!
“This is a hard rockin, party driven, beer drinkin song! Always have loved it, and I hope the fans love it as much as I do. Crank it UP!” -Chris Janson
Alongside the track, Janson has also released the sun-soaked music video, directed by his drummer, Josh Daubin. Captured while Janson and his band and crew took to the beach for some pre-show down time ahead of a performance in the Cayman Islands, the idyllic location and high-energy song makes us anticipate summer’s arrival with good music, good friends and good beer.
“We had a fun time shooting this video. My drummer, Josh, filmed it. Just hanging out with the band and family, and on the beach in the Cayman Islands. Everyone happy, and having a great time. Y’all crank this song every chance you get!” -Chris Janson
The award-winning artist and conservationist was recently honored by the Fish & Wildlife Foundation of Florida during the organization’s “A Night for Nature” gala hosted at the Pelican Club in Jupiter, Florida on March 31st. Janson was recognized for his dedication to preserving Florida’s wildlife by his best friend, Johnny Morris (Founder and CEO of Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s). Janson, who has spent his life as an avid outdoorsman, has helped raise millions of dollars for environmental conservation – ensuring that generations to come will be able to enjoy the bountiful beauty of the great outdoors. He also thrilled the crowd with a surprise live performance.
“I’m truly humbled. This was one of the greatest moments of my life. To be known, and awarded as a Conservationist, is one of my greatest honors, truly. My family and I are very grateful.” -Chris Janson
Janson’s current radio single, “All I Need Is You,” is impacting Country radio now and skyrocketing up the charts. On April 4th, Janson released an alternate version of the song, LISTEN: “All I Need Is You (Outlaw Version)”

ABOUT CHRIS JANSON:
Chris Janson, proud member of the Grand Ole Opry and multi-platinum songwriter and artist, is part of Country’s new breed. In touch with the lighter side of life with self-penned No. 1s “Fix A Drink,” “Good Vibes,” and the triple platinum “Buy Me A Boat,” as well as the more thoughtful truths of “Done,” “Things You Can’t Live Without,” and the CMA Song of the Year nominee and ACM Video of the Year “Drunk Girl.” Both “Boat” and “Girl” were named to the Nashville Songwriters Association International’s prestigious “Songs I Wish I Wish I’d Written” list, which is why artists like Tim McGraw (“Truck Yeah,” “How I’ll Always Be”), Justin Moore (“Off The Beaten Path”), Cody Johnson (“Let’s Build A Fire”), and the iconic Hank Williams Jr. (“God Fearin’ Man,” “Those Days Are Gone”) reach for Janson’s songs for their own projects. Beyond his artistry are his live shows, where all that heart-on-the-four-wheeler songwriting meets the fans where they come to rock. Rolling Stone proclaimed him “a live legacy in the making,” and Janson is a frequent presence at the nation’s biggest country festivals, tours, and unexpected sit-ins. For a man known for his outdoors lifestyle and collaborations with Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s, making music from his own life has established the harmonica-forward multi-instrumentalist the go-to guy for young country for the last decade. Janson is currently headlining his 2023 tour while his BMLG debut single, “All I Need Is You,” is his most-added radio hit to date.
