Wyoming-born Ian Munsick is partnering up with native Texan Cody Johnson for a true country and western ballad. “Long Live Cowgirls” features descriptive, prairie-tinged lyrics Munsick penned alongside Aby Gutierrez and Phil O’Donnell: “Like a paint-colored mustang, she’s fast and she’s wild / stop a runaway freight train with her high-country smile / she’s tough as December, salt-of-the-Earth / make you fall like September, long live cowgirls.
